Selçuk Outlet Park Is Preparing to Become the Region’s New Attraction Hub.
Scheduled to open in May 2026, Selçuk Outlet Park aims to create a strong brand mix with 20,000 m² of leasable area and 60 stores.
At the launch event, MallMark General Manager Aytaç Özçiçek began his speech by sharing the story behind the project’s development, referring to technological advancements in outlet parks worldwide. He also emphasized the strategic importance of the project’s location on the Aydın highway, highlighting both inbound and outbound traffic density, as well as the area’s recognition due to the Shell service station.
MallMark Deputy General Manager Yeşim Çamlıbel emphasized that Selçuk Outlet Park, located on the İzmir–Aydın highway, addresses a resident population of 1.5 million within a 100 km radius and benefits from an average daily traffic volume of 40,000 vehicles, with no direct competitors in the area. Highlighting the project’s single-story, modern, and spacious architectural concept that reflects the region’s character, Çamlıbel stated that with its next-generation “roadside shopping mall” concept, expanding land advantage, high open-air usage ratio, and event spaces, the project aims to attract strong visitor flow from surrounding districts as well. She then handed the floor to MallMark Senior Leasing Manager Gül Türkmen.
Gül Türkmen explained that Selçuk Outlet Park has been designed with a single-story open-air concept, featuring a circular customer flow that draws visitors in from the entrance and guides them naturally throughout the entire project. She shared details about the store layout concept, noting that along the main axis, a strong fashion & textile line has been created, consisting of women’s, men’s, and children’s apparel, lingerie, and general textile brands. This structure is supported by the Sports & Athleisure and Shoes–Bags & Accessories segments, as illustrated on the floor plan. She also emphasized that Selçuk Outlet Park adopts a family-focused approach by including dedicated children’s play areas. Türkmen stated that one of the most distinctive features of Selçuk Outlet Park, designed as an all-day social experience project, is its extensive F&B and terrace gastronomy backbone, strengthened by open-air terraces, which has been planned as a key attraction point that enhances both brand visibility and operational efficiency.
Investor and developer company Zeytin Gayrimenkul İnşaat AVM Anonim Şirketi’s investment partners Berat Uygur and Mehmet Tekinalp stated that the project is being developed with 100% equity financing. They emphasized their goal of offering world-class standards to all project stakeholders and bringing a new lifestyle destination to the region, and they answered questions from the participants.
In addition to aiming to become a meeting point for visitors of all ages and social backgrounds, the project has been designed with an accessible brand mix capable of benefiting from highway traffic density. Selçuk Outlet Park aims to bring a new dynamic to the region’s retail ecosystem and to become one of the strongest commercial hubs in the area through its brand diversity and easily accessible location.
